Dr. Gizem Alper, Esq. has over 15 years of experience in cross- border legal matters. She worked and studied across three different continents, both in the legal industry and as an academic. She is the Global Editor of the Pace CISG Database at the Institute of International Commercial Law. She earned a masters degree in European Business Law from Leiden University and U.S. Legal Practice from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University. She holds a P.hD degree in law from Istanbul University, where she wrote about the ultra vires doctrine as a legal tool for ensuring justice.
