Paul Rose LLM FRICS FCIArb is a Chartered Arbitrator and a Chartered Surveyor with 49 years' experience of property valuation and dealing with real estate disputes with private, corporate and local government parties. He has had 89 appointments as sole arbitrator in a variety of cases, predominantly real estate orientated. He has had over 150 appointments as mediator in natkional and international cases including a $60 million ICSID case involving two investor states; and a 40 million case in Malaysia. He holds arbitration panel appointments with the CIArb, LCIA SCCA and AIAC. He is a member of the mediation panels with SCCA, CIArb, RICS and LCIA; and is a member of the IMI, SIMI, and LMAA. He has taught mediation advocacy for the Standing Conference of Mediation Advocates and is a member of their advisory board. He is also a member of the advisory board of the Dubai Mediation Centre. Paul practices as a member of ArbDB Chambers at the IDRC in Paternoster Lane St Paul's London. Paul is the immediate past Chair of the london Branch of the CIArb. He is a keen yachtsman and qualified as an RYA coastal skipper. He is vice commodore of the East India Club Yacht Squadron and a member of the Royal London Yacht Club and Royal Ocean Racing Club.
