Ross W. Martin is a disputes lawyer qualified in New York and England & Wales whose practice focuses on investor-State dispute settlement, international commercial arbitration, construction arbitration, and complex commercial litigation. He has acted on matters under bilateral investment treaties and the Energy Charter Treaty, as well as ICC, LCIA, ICSID, DIAC, QICCA, AAA, JAMS, UNCITRAL proceedings, as well as one case heard at the ICJ, and has experience spanning the United States, London, the Gulf, Bermuda and Southeast Asia. His work has included construction and infrastructure disputes, performance-bond and injunction matters, insurance and shareholder disputes, appellate litigation, and public international law issues. A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, he has also been appointed twice as sole arbitrator in international arbitrations under the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators’ Business Arbitration Scheme, in each case managing the proceedings and drafting the award.
