As a legal director in the International Law Firm CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang LLP , with over 16 years of specialized experience in international commercial and construction arbitration in the Middle East, I am part of the Infrastructure, Construction, and Energy Disputes (ICED) at CMS. In my legal practice, I provide expert advice to a diverse clientele that includes both local and international entities. My areas of specialization encompass civil, commercial, corporate, arbitration, and construction law. My professional experience includes representing prominent local and international construction corporations in Oman and beyond, appearing on their behalf in arbitral tribunal proceedings. Furthermore, I have also served as an arbitrator in both ad hoc and institutional arbitration proceedings.Beyond my legal practice, I hold an FCIArb designation and tutor certification from The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb). I teach candidates in Saudi Arabia (SCCA) and Oman (OAC) on International Commercial Arbitration. Additionally, I have been appointed as the LCIA YIAG Regional Representative for the Middle East.My contributions extend to drafting arbitration and mediation rules for the Oman Commercial Arbitration Centre (OAC).
